Belleza Bridal announced yesterday that it will be an exclusive stockists of the Alfred Angelo replica of the dress worn by Bella when she marries love interest Edward in this year's Twilight: Breaking Dawn. The original, designed by Carolina Hererra was designed to "reflect the personality and style of the bride." Herrera told Vogue.co.uk, "Bella's dress is romantic and filled with a timeless sophistication, very similar to the character. In a way, this dress served as a symbol of the character's coming of age and introduction into womanhood."

The Alfred Angelo replica is made from satin sheath and lace applique, and the full-length sleeves, v-neck and classic silhouette create a timeless style while the cut-out illusion back and button detail adds a little sensuality to the gown.

Cardigans are a pretty way of keeping out the cold during the autumn/winter months. Try a bold colour to make a fun and feminine statement on your big day, matching the colour to your bouquet and his buttonhole.

Wearing a short, waist-legth cardigan over the shoulders is very 50s, and very lady-like (coowee!). To go the full hog wear a diamond or pearl clasp to hold the collar together. If you're going for a colourful cardie however, keep the detail to a minimum, you don't want the cardigan to overshadow your dress! Some pearl buttons would give it a glamourous edge but keep it simple!

If you are wearing a sheath dress, your cardigan can be a little longer, but your best option is to keep it to the waist if you are wearing a traditional dress. If your dress is a-line you could get away with ballerina-style wrap around (see above).

Pink -a beautiful but unsuspectingly difficult colour to get right at weddings! The trick to pink is not to overdo it, and keep to one simple shade. Blush pink and easy creams create a soft, gentle palette, perfect for a romantic and warm display.Compiled by Karen Birney

A cute and easy DIY project to create your very own Papel Picado flags. Hang them in the church or drape them around you reception room to help add a splash of colour to your big day.

Materials
· Various colours of tissue paper – maybe in your wedding colour theme
· Double sided tape or glue
· Scissors
· Ribbon
· Paper for template
Step-by-step
1. Fold paper for the template into 1/6s length-wise. Once paper is in 1/2, fold it into 1/3s.

2. Cut small shapes along the folded sides of the template.

3. Open to see if you like the pattern.
4. Then lay the template over the tissue paper, which should be folded in the exact same way the template is.
5. Cut the tissue in the same pattern as the template.

6. Unfold and repeat in the same way for other colours of tissue.

7. Lay ribbon out and stick different colour tissue flags side-by-side on the ribbon with the double sided tape or glue. Leave about enough space either side so the banner can be tied up.
8. Stick another piece of ribbon to the front side of the banner.

9. Now hang it up and stand back to admire all your 'hard' work!

Whether you love them or hate them, the Kardashians know how to throw a good party, and Kim Kardashian’s recent wedding to Basketball player Kris Humphries was no different!
Kim (30) and Kris (26) were married on a private estate in Southern California in front 450 friends and family. Their theme was Old Hollywood Glamour, which included a black and white dress code, décor, invitations, place settings, a multi-tiered wedding cake, etc. etc.
Kim wore a strapless ivory Vera Wang gown with a fitted bodice, a full tulle skirt and a long train. The bride also wore a veil that featured a bejeweled headpiece and carried a bouquet of white roses.
The wedding was filmed as a two-part special called “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” to be broadcast in October on E! television.

When we saw this amazing real wedding on the Ruffled blog we fell head over heels in love. The couple got married in Long Beach, California. The groom, Jonathan, is a jeweller who made all of the groomsmen’s cufflinks, the centrepieces and the altar, while Amy, the beautiful bride, took on the flower arrangements.
They lined the altar with Amy’s grandmother’s quilt, which was also used in their engagement session and it was their main source of inspiration for their wedding. She wore a vintage wedding dress she found in Chile and had it altered with added flutter sleeves. Her amazing yellow birdcage veil is to die for! Incredible photographs by Chad Cress.
